My name is Aylin Cemali. I was born in Bayreuth, Germany, and grew up in Cologne as a daughter of Syrian-Turkish parents. Trained in hotel management I've always been attentive to the peculiarities of different cultures. My passion for travelling and sightseeing became apparent early on. Already as a child I gave small lectures at family gatherings using travel photos and souvenirs. After completing my hotel management training in Cologne I have lived abroad and worked in various hotels in London where I could improve my English language skills. Back in Cologne, I have continued to work in the hotel industry for a few years and then pursued another passion: I've attended a school for the performing arts with a focus on acting and dance.
When I was given the opportunity to work as a guide ten years ago, all my talents came together. Since then I have been working as a tour guide. In addition to German and English, I'm speaking a fluent Turkish.
